Tom Neville’s life changed forever one January day in 2002 when he heard the words “you have prostate cancerUncontrolled growth of the cells of the prostate..” The longtime scientist, executive and athlete discovered quickly that to survive his life-threatening disease he would need to take charge of his own health as never before.

Soon immersed in the complexities of clinical data and treatment choices, Tom became intimately familiar with the contradictions and conflicts in a health care system that required challenges to conventional wisdom to better serve patients like him.
